My Kind of "Makan Besar"

All of the Chinese were having their "makan besar" tonight, we also have our style of "makan besar". I guess this is how we (Me, Suhail & Haikal) celebrated CNY. Later that night, we karaoke like no tomorrow & finished our night with McD supper. Thats how you celebrate CNY's night guys!! :)

Enjoying out fat rice "nasi lemak" & sticky rice + manggo "pulut mangga" at Selera Jaya 223 (the name oh the place)

McD as supper

Actually, this was how our semester break starts or I can call introduction. Later, me & my friend will show how me enjoyed our semester from camping (A Camp to Remember), overnight at luxurious resort ( Menjejakkan Kaki ke Allson Kelana Resort) until jumpstreet. Just wait!!

Good Old Days :) :)

A sudden feeling of missing my matriculation life especially my friends. This picture says it all.

I think this picture deserve to be in a museum. I'm really miss ma boys and we called our group 'WARM' which stands for the first letter in our names; W(Wan Syaz), A(Alif), R(Razak), M(Mus). Now, we're all separated and go different ways. I'm really hope everyone will succeed in anything they do and hope we will reunite someday.

Conquering The Great Wall

Another check off of my bucket list. I went to Beijing in 2014 right after I sat for my SPM. We spent a total of 6 days and 5 nights there. Of course, visiting The Great Wall is a MUST especially when it listed one of the Seven Wonders in the World.

Arrival

They said whoever make it to the top will earn a certificate

And I was all fired up to earn one.

My father's colleague.

A picturesque view from the highest peak of the Great Wall

Actually, we have to buy our own certificate. Yeah, nobody would give to you for free.

I had the greatest moments there. See you again, Great Wall!! (sob! sob!)

A Short Escape to Monkey Beach, Pulau Pinang

I went to Monkey Beach last mid-semester break (I can't remember which semester) with my big brother. Monkey Beach located in Pulau Pinang and we take a boat-ride from Batu Ferrenghi beach. It cost Rm 100 per boat (2-way) and it can load up to 10 person. The beach is quite beautiful and clean compare to the other beach. The water is clear and completed with white sandy beach. We can do a lot of activities including jet ski, ATV and parasailing. BBQ site also prepared here but we have to bring our  own food. But I can say that the activities is very expensive but worth to try, maybe once in a lifetime.

Otw to Monkey Beach

Me and my Big Bro take a walk along the beach

Enjoying the great company

Crystal clear water

I've tried to sleep in a hammock. Can cross that out from my bucket list.

Heading Back!!!

Taking Steps for a Greener Tomorrow

Image result for greener earth photoshoot

Last 1st January, Selangor have been banning the usage of plastic bags. The government has decide to extend the campaign from one day (Saturday) to seven day a week. With that, the Selangor residents will be charged 20 sen for every single-used plastic bags. I completely agree and support this campaign since usage of plastic bags will be fatal towards the environment. Selangor residents need to be alert and always prepare to bring along reusable bags and food container everytime they go outside. This campaign will lead us toward a healthier lifestyle and greener environment. I'm really hope this small changes will change our sick earth for the better.

Student Finance Survival Tips

Image result for pelajar universiti
(sekadar gambar hiasan)

Since I'm still an undergraduate student in local university, I gained a lot of experienced for the past few years. Here are some tips for university student to save or earn some money.

1. "Kos Upah"

  • I don't like to buy original book (reference book), so I just photocopied it. Since we only used it for one semester so why we need to spend a lot on it. Unless we can use it for a few years or semester, it will be worth to buy. What I do? First, I make an announcement to my entire coursemate and they will order it. Then I make the copies according to the number of the person who wants it too. Then I charged it to make a profit to myself. For example, I photocopied a set of book for Rm 26, but I charged it for Rm 30. By using this method, I earned Rm 4 per person. That's how you do  it!
2. Try to Eat the Cheapest Food
  • The famous food among university student, Nasi Bujang! Just eat Nasi Bujang when you're broke and want to keep your stomach full. You can have an luxurious feast but just once a month. Another food that always save student's life, Maggi!!
3. Try to earn Funding
  • First, try to earn a scholarship (but it is quite difficult). Then, grab any academic awards (especially when you have a good CGPA) or state foundation offered to students. It is not much but at least you'll get something.
4. Use Discount Card
  • Use the discount card as many times as you can. If you have a choice, choose the shop that received your discount card.
5. Hunt for University Program/ Event
  • Usually university program already prepare food for the participant. Make sure you alert with these program and make sure it is free/ no registration fees. You can save some money since you don't have to invest money on food on that day.
6. Use your talent!
  • It is popular among college student. Every students born with some talents running through their veins. My friends know to cut someone's hair, so he become a part-time barber. We can make profit using our talents including repair electronic gadgets, repair laptop, or programming. On the other hand, you can try the non-talent job such as food-delivery, open a printing service (if you own a printer), driver or cleaning service. Remember, "If you're good at something, never do it for free"~ JOKER
7. Sell your book.
  • Sell your unwanted books (tutorial books) to your juniors or whoever who wants it. Usually, I just hand it for free but if you want to earn some money, just sell it cheaply. Since it is secondhand, no one wants to buy it with high price, they rather buy a new one. Remember, better get something than nothing.
8. Stop your expensive hobbies
  • You need to stop your hobbies that involving a lot of expenses. For example, if you like go to the gym, you need to pause it and pursue your hobby after you graduate/ stable financially. From what I can see, they spend a lot on gym equipment, protein shake and the gym session. I do understand their passion and determination to build muscles but if it leads to severe condition, they need to think what is the best for themselves. You can start a cheap hobby instead.
9. Become a volunteer
  • Most of the big event (MASUM, Marathon, Sukan SEA) require a lot of workforce and will ask college students to become a volunteer. When we become one, we got paid/ allowance according to how many days we on duty. Besides, we also will received free foods, t-shirts and a lot of networking.
10.PUASA!!
  • Probably the best way to save your money.

Perfect Way to Celebrate my 20s at Foodsbury, Seksyen 9, Shah Alam

7 December 2016

Last 7th December was my Birthday and I celebrated with my family at one of the hipster cafe in Shah Alam. This cafe called Foodsbury and served only western food. This is a perfect place to celebrate out family reunion and celebrated my birthday especially the 20s. I remembered I just done an extremely difficult and challenging competition which is Olympiad Mathematics 2016 (I'll come to this story later) at University Putra Malaysia (UPM) so this can be a self-reward.

Superb Triple Chocolate Treat

Since I'm a burger-lover, I get myself a juicy The Beef Burger

My superheroes

Lamb Quesadilla

Stuffed Chicken with Chicken

Some of the menu ordered by my family. Personally, I enjoyed eating the food here especially the drinks. I would like to rate the food 8/10. The price of the food is quite expensive especially when we came with all our family members.

My beloved family with my one and only nephew, Zafran!!!

All in all, I think the food is super delicious but too expensive. But this place would be a great place for a special occasion or memorable celebration.
